I’ve been there.

Like many, I was once filled with fear — fear that caused me to get stuck and miss out on what I really wanted out of life. Most of my clients have struggled with fear. We’ve all been where you are right now.

• Fear of failure
• Fear of rejection
• Fear of change
• Fear of not pleasing others
• Fear of public speaking

Countless clients told me about the years they’d already spent in therapy to get better —therapy that had only caused them to become more fearful rather than less. It was the same with various books and programs they had tried. Nothing had worked. It was a shame, and it wasn’t their fault.

I wrote my book BE FEARLESS: Change Your Life in 28 Days and developed my psychotherapy practice out of a deep desire to help others. And out of frustration with what didn’t work.

Fearlessly, I addressed this frustration and discussed my results-oriented approach in my 2012 New York Times Opinion piece, “In Therapy Forever? Enough Already”, which continues to be debated and garner international attention.
